Beth Ann Erickson
Beth discovered the simple pleasure of creating at a young age and she has been honing her artistic skills ever since. She began, as most artists do, with drawing and painting, but has expanded her love of creativity to many different mediums. She is a talented graphic designer, creator of beaded jewelry and painter who sometimes also dabbles in interior and fashion design. Beth has used her skills as a hobby, a side job and a way to bless her family and friends with original works of art. She cannot help but create, which is evidenced by the flourishes, vines and flowers that grace almost every piece of paper that passes through her hands. The Creator has gifted her with creativity, which she has refused to squander.
Currently Beth is working as a freelance designer, designing wedding, bridal shower and birthday invitations, along with graduation announcements, wedding accessories, holiday decorations and hand-sewn items. You can find her designs on Etsy and Zazzle. In between design projects she enjoys writing a creative blog that includesDIY tutorials and "Encouragement from the Studio".
Beth formerly worked as a graphic designer for the Stanwood/Camano NEWS and Media Index Publishing. She won two awards from the Washington Newspaper Association for Best Special Section Cover design and she managed and designed all the client work for the newspaper's print shop. At Media Index Publishing Beth held the position of Assistant Production Manger and worked with a number of editors, designing editorial layouts and covers for multiple publications. While doing so she organized the work flow for the small art department and communicated with the print shop about each publication.
Beth’s passion as a graphic designer is to combine her skills in fine art, photography and design to produce print and web projects that meet her clients needs with an enhanced design. Her talents lend themselves to print design work, such as corporate identities, posters, invitations and much more. She also frequently donates her skills to local non-profit groups and community events such as Safe Harbor Free Clinic and Camano Chapel. Beth is available for freelance opportunities and the creativity it allows her to express.
